Using the Crios brand
Everything you need to put Crios on a slide, a partner page or a conference banner — and the few things not to do with it.
An infinity that ends in wires
The mark is a lemniscate whose right loop stops closing and runs out into two circuit traces, each ending in an open node. The loop is the agent that keeps running; the traces are what it reaches. It is drawn on one near-uniform stroke, and every rule below follows from that.
On light
Ink on paper. The default everywhere.
Reversed
Paper on ink. Never grey on a dark ground — the stroke is thin enough that it disappears.
On accent
Ink on emerald, never paper. Paper on emerald is 2.2:1 and fails the contrast floor.
The name is Crios
One word, on its own. The product is an AI platform, but “AI” is never part of the name.
- Write Crios. Never Crios AI, never CRIOS, never CriOS.
- Capital C, the rest lowercase, in every language.
- The wordmark is set in Figtree SemiBold. Do not re-typeset it in a face of your own — use the supplied artwork.
- “AI” may appear in a sentence describing what Crios does. It never appears in the logo.
Three arrangements, no others
The horizontal lockup is the default and covers nearly everything. If it does not fit, the mark alone does — do not invent a stacked or vertical arrangement.
Horizontal · default
Mark and wordmark on one baseline. Site headers, documents, slides, partner pages, press.
Mark alone
Favicon, app icon, avatar, watermark — anywhere the word Crios is already visible.
Wordmark alone
Running text, footers, legal lines — anywhere the mark would be too small to read as a drawing.
Give it half its own height
Clear space is measured in x, the drawn height of the mark. Keep x/2 free on every side — no text, no rules, no other logos, no edge of the page. The rule scales with the logo, so it holds at every size.

The favicon carries the same mark, scaled from the same master — it is never redrawn by hand.
Proportions
Mark 711 × 273
Scale both axes together, always. Never set width and height independently.
Paper, ink, and one emerald
The logo is drawn in exactly one colour at a time: ink on a light ground, paper on a dark one. Those two carry every normal use.
The accent logo, for occasions
There is a third colourway: the logo itself drawn in emerald. It is not a general-purpose alternative. Use it for launch moments, event backdrops, release marks or a conference stand — somewhere the brand is being celebrated rather than identified. Never in a site header, never in product UI, never on a partner page or in a press kit. The one exception is the favicon, and only as a fallback. A browser tells the page whether it is set to light or dark, and the favicon follows in ink or paper; where nothing asks — a crawler, a link preview, a page with scripts off — it is emerald, the brand colour.
The accent logo works on ink only. Emerald on ink is 7.4:1 and approved; emerald on paper is 2.2:1, below the 3:1 floor for non-text content. If an occasion needs an emerald logo on a light ground, the colour is #065f46 at 6.7:1.

Six things not to do
The mark is one stroke and one colour. Almost every way it gets damaged is someone adding a second of either.
Do not stretch or condense. Scale both axes together.
Do not rotate. The loop has a horizon.
Do not fill it with a gradient or a second colour.
Do not add shadows, glows or bevels.
Do not place it on a pattern or a busy photograph.
Do not crowd it. Half the mark’s height stays clear.
Two more that have no picture: do not append AI or any other word to the name, and do not lock the Crios mark up with another company’s logo as if they were one mark. Set them side by side with clear space between.
App integrations
Some apps show one logo whatever theme the reader has chosen, and never tell it which. Gmail is the clearest case: a Google Workspace organisation uploads a single logo for every theme, and Gmail ignores an email’s own light and dark styles. A transparent logo vanishes on one of the two — ink on dark, paper on light — and an outline is not the fix. So here the lockup brings its own ground: paper on an ink plate, 16.4:1 on any theme.
Light
DarkGoogle Workspace and Gmail
The custom logo at the top left of Gmail, Drive and Calendar, seen by everyone in the organisation on a computer. Upload it in the Google Admin console under Account › Account settings › Personalization. It can take up to four days to appear.
File 320 × 132 · PNG · ≤ 30 KB
Light
DarkEmail header
The top of an HTML email. Gmail recolours an email’s backgrounds in dark mode but never the pixels of an image, so the plate holds. Drawn at twice the size: place it at width 240, height 60.
File 480 × 120 → 240 × 60
Avatar
The mark alone, for any app that crops to a circle: the Google account photo Gmail shows beside our mail, a workspace or organisation avatar. Centred on a solid ground, as Google asks of a sender logo.
File 512 × 512 · PNG
The plate is only for apps that choose the ground for you. Where you choose it — a page, a slide, a document — use the mark and wordmark above, in ink or paper, without one.

The full-lockup files are being re-cut for the shorter name and are not offered here yet. Until they are, compose the lockup from the mark above with the name set in Figtree SemiBold, or ask us for it.
